Toddler Approved Smoothie Recipe - ALDI

My goodness, do I know that teething after one is bad if not worse then when they were babies! This past two weeks both of my kids have had issues with teething. This was a HUGE shock to me. Wrenly has never let teething bother her and Cayman already has a handful that never caused an issue. But these past two weeks have hit them both hard. I had to find something that did not hurt their mouths but still provided some of the nutrition they need. Another mom tip is to add a handful of spinach. It is almost impossible to find see or taste after you blend everything together.

This smoothie is also one of my favorites. It is so simple and easy. I add all the ingredients to my MagicBullet (worth every penny) and blend it up and it is ready in under 5 min. This is perfect for those busy mornings or if you just love smoothies. I typically have them for breakfast or as a midday snack. ALDI had several frozen berry mixes that look very good. It is best to use frozen fruit instead of adding ice. Adding ice will water it down.

3/4 cup of Friendly Farms Unsweetened Vanilla almond milk

6oz of Friendly Farms yogurt (we like to use strawberry or blueberry)

1 cup of frozen Seasons Choice-Berry Medley berries

2 TBSP of Stevia

1. Add all the ingredients into the Magicbullet

2. Blend until everything is mixed well. We like ours on the thicker side (but still able to use a straw) so check the consistency and add more almond milk until you're satisfied.

3. Pour into cup and enjoy!

Smoothies are so versatile you can really make this your own. I love using ALDI ingredients because they are inexpensive and typically, always amazing! Let me know if you try this recipe!
